IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID LINKS

Students can submit 2023-2024 FAFSA until June 30, 2024. The deadline for most of the 2023-2024 Maryland State aid have passed. The MHEC deadline for the 2024-2025 academic year will March 1, 2024. The 2024-2025 FAFSA is being revised and will not open until sometime in December, 2023.

FAFSA and MHEC deadlines:  the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA) are now available.  To submit your FAFSA please visit: https://studentaid.gov/fafsa-app/ROLES   To submit your MSFAA please visit: https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us/  The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) at the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) will review the information that you provide on your FAFSA or MSFAA to determine your eligibility for certain state scholarships and grants for the 2023-2024 academic year. The 2023-2024 Teaching Fellows for Maryland Scholarship program application is now open!  To apply, log into your MDCAPS account at https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us and select “Apply Online” from the home screen. If you are a new user, you must select the “Create a Student Login” option, and follow each of the prompts.  The deadline to submit the 2023-2024 Teaching Fellows for Maryland Scholarship Program application and all required documentation is April 1, 2023. Applications will not be considered if received after the deadline.  For more information on the Teaching Fellows for Maryland Scholarship or any other scholarships and grants offered through the State of Maryland, please visit https://mhec.maryland.gov/preparing/Pages/TeachingFellowsMDScholarship.aspx.
